5 Best Places In Tagaytay

Summer is fast approaching and the weather in Manila is unlikely hot hot hot. Baguio may be the best place to ease the weather but it's too far away; good thing Tagaytay is just a drive away. 2 hours from Manila via SLEX Sta. Rosa Exit and look for signage on going to Eton City Greenfield then on to Paseo de Sta. Rosa to avoid traffic (specially on a weekend).

Best places to go when in Tagaytay:

1. People's Park in the Sky
- The place has the best view of the whole Tagaytay. They say its the highest peak. Though people mostly visit for the view the place is not well maintained, the buildings there has places which are a danger to some specially for the kids who wander around (tip: always have your kids close to you at all times).

2. Pink Sister's Church
- a convent where nuns and priests attends to pray. Make sure to wear proper attire, and by proper attire means no shorts, sando and slippers allowed. Always follow rules specially inside the convent. This place is a popular place in Tagaytay.

3. Royal Pines Highgrove
- best places to live in Tagaytay, a residential community where houses looks more like a cabin and a lodge.

4. Mahogany Market
- top places in Tagaytay to have and sip a very hot and delicious bulalo. This place is jampacked mostly on weekends and parking spaces are few while roads are too small. Still, people come here just to eat BULALO. Their tawilis are a fave too,

5. Sky Ranch
- newly open park in Tagaytay. They say it has the biggest ferris wheel in the Philippines at 63 meters (207 ft).

Made an appointment at DFA Megamall today for passport renewal and it was a breeze. Schedule appointment was at 1 pm and I was done after an hour. How? Just follow these steps and I'm sure your as good to go as I am.

Since everything is done through internet these days, visit DFA Passport Appointment System then click 'Set an appointment'  and choose which DFA location nearest to you (Aseana, Manila, Galleria, Megamall, Alabang, Ali Mall) then follow each step and instructions shown and you're done. You can also choose your own schedule and be sure to attend or cancel your appointment 2-3 days before the schedule so there wouldn't be any conflict when you set another appointment.

Never ever forget to bring:

• Valid id's (SSS, Pilhealth, Driver's license, Barangay clearance, University id, PRC id, Voter's id, etc..)
• Photocopy of front and back of old passport (for renewal only)
• Certified true copy of your NSO birth certificate
• Certified true copy of Marriage Contract (for married wife who wants to use their spouse's name)

Be sure to be on time on the exact day of your appointment, be there 1 hour before the given schedule.

Legit Seller, said she was sick but was able to cause a scene on Viber.

I've made a transaction with this online shop named @Glitterherthings on IG. She sells beautiful dresses for just 350 pesos (good catch) and since I'm on a tight budget this Christmas and I needed a dress to wear on Saturday's occasion, I gave it a try.
I ordered from her and paid on Wednesday so she could ship my items on Thursday and that I can receive the package by Friday (just in time for my Saturday's occasion). I viber-ed her and also send her sms so no hassle. She texted me that she would ship the item on Thursday, after that no more reply, no more information. I texted her again Thursday night asking for information about the shipping, I was asking for the transaction number so I could track my item whether I should wait for it or just buy a new dress instead (all I want is for some piece of information, is that too much to ask?).
Friday morning, I texted her and even called her viber. I left a couple of text messages (I was nice though, even I was running out of patience) till I texted her something about being a 'bogus seller', that was the only time she replied. I am not in the position to ruin anyone, if I have the intention I would have posted this somewhere public where a lot of people can actually see, but I didn't (meaning, I would have posted a complaint over social medias before this incident). All I said was "I'm starting to think", not that I actually accuse them of being a bogus seller. (well you can't blame me if I was starting to think, they're not replying on any of my msgs.) Her mom started replying to me after I send that message while Trixie (the owner) was somewhat sick and causing a scene on my viber.

 

Talk about being professional. If you were you wouldn't ignore your clients messages even though you were sick or you could have at least informed them. I am a seller too and I have my own online shop., I am very busy with my thesis and other school stuffs but whenever a client needed information regarding their items I do attend to them immediately, coz this is our job as a seller.
Paulit ulit na yun usapan namin about her being sick and how I don't understand 'daw' that she's sick she can't even reply (haha, what about now?), eh kaya nga niya makipag away sa text mabigay lang yun TN hindi pa magawa?
Well then, if this is how you treat your customers good luck na lang with your business. Sickness doesn't mean you'd step out of your obligation as a seller, in business what matters most are the client they have their rights to ask and be informed all the time specially when they have transactions with you. One client doesn't mean na hindi yun kawalan sa business niyo despite of your many buyers. Don't brag about you being a legit seller and being DTI approved, what's not approved is your way of treating your customers.

EnRoute Distillery

Looking for a best place to go ping pong with beers involved? Hah! Just kidding, beer pong or originally call Beirut party is a drinking game invented by colleges in the US in which players has to toss a ping pong ball over a cup of beer on the other end of the table. It consists of two groups with 12 cups involve formed on a triangle; 6 on each side. When the ball lands on a cup of beer that beer will automatically be consumed and removed at the table by the other team.

First time to ever play beer pong and thought it would just be easy (not!), but I'm glad I was able to shoot 3 and actually our team won 2 times in a row. I wasn't much of a drinker but for the game's sake and for our team's sake I made an exemption just for fun.
Wednesday night after our Christmas party at Shakey's, my college friends and I decided to get some drink, we wanted to have fun at the same time so we tried visiting En Route Distillery other than any other bar along Tomas Morato (where there are lots to choose from). This was the only nearest place we knew who has beer pong.

When we got here, we were the only guests along with the others who were outside of their bar partying. The place is like a small pub, very nice ambiance specially for people who wanted to just chill, smoke and hangout with friends. They have their own ktv (which I think, they only had 1) and 2 beer pong tables. I guess I wouldn't recommend this for people who are in a big group specially on weekends for this place will be too crowded. If you wanted to try En Route Distillery try visiting them on wee hours and on weekdays. I haven't tried the crowd on weekends though, but with all the party goers along the metro, all the bars and clubs within Tomas Morato area are always too crowded and full (based on experience). But its up to you, :)
